
The Master of Science in Animal Science Program is designed for both traditional and nontraditional students in agriculture and life sciences. Career professionals interested in a transition to the animal science program will be required to fulfill prerequisites for the Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. The program will be delivered by traditional classroom instruction and distance learning modalities. The program offers degrees in three areas:
The Animal Nutrition program area evaluates biochemistry and metabolism of nutrients.
The Reproductive Biology appraises reproductive efficiency of animals.
The Animal Products Technology assesses food and nutritional quality of products.
